About the Role: As a Analyst, Governance and Reporting in our Governance, Reporting & Regulatory Services Squad, you'll play a key role in helping to ensure that risks associated with day-to-day operations are managed and governed appropriately.
Other responsibilities assumed by the squad include reporting and regulatory interactions in respect of risks and information held within the technology division.
In this role, you will support the technology division in identifying opportunities for improvement and maintaining advanced risk management reporting to protect shareholders, customers, and bankers.
You will deeply understand technology risk and information security processes, concepts, and industry standards and can translate them to the ANZ context.
Role Type: Permanent, Full time Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC What will your day look like? As an Analyst, you are responsible for: Working collaboratively with senior stakeholders to deliver on regulatory requirements and other risk reporting activities.
Ensuring integrity of risk data is maintained and liaise with stakeholders to enhance data quality.
Preparation of exemplary reporting of Non-financial Risks in Group Technology and ensuring compliance with internal reporting requirements.
Governance and education on key risk information (e.g., controls, issues, risks, NFRevents, incidents, and audit issues) across the division.
Driving discussion and change to uplift risk management practice within the Division.
Coordinating and managing meetings to support the regulatory responses.
Supporting and assisting Governance, Reporting & Regulatory squad members to deliver priorities.
Implementing a culture within the Squad, encouraging best practices around quality and documentation.
What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Effective communication, negotiation skills and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders within the Division and in country ANZ teams.
A can-do attitude to deliver squad priorities.
Superior attention to detail when performing tasks.
Demonstrated experience in producing divisional and executive risk reporting.
Ability to manage own time and prioritise workload and deliverables.
Intermediate skills in MS Office suite (Excel, PPT, and Word).
The desire to learn and build on new and existing skills and capabilities.
Knowledge and ability to process, map and transform data from raw form ensuring it is valuable and appropriate for analytics and downstream consumption.
Ability to manage the output of exemplary analysis (of key risk information e.g., controls, treatments, risks, events, incidents, and audit issues) and translate such data into a consumable product for executives, boards, and sub-committees.
Service Now CSA Certification and JIRA.
You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
