Due to company growth, a newly created position has opened for a talented Business Development Analyst to join their investment team based in Melbourne's inner south.
This role will help proactively identify investment opportunities in the business community.
Key responsibilities include: Research and market analysis on industry sectors, trends, emerging technologies, competitors and developments Relationship building, networking and collaborating with industry experts, external stakeholders and partners via communications and industry events Industry mapping to identify sub sectors, revenue traction and capital requirements of potential target businesses Work closely with the investment team to identify potential partners and opportunities Prepare presentations on research reports and market analysis to management Key competencies include: Bachelor's degree in business or a related field Similar experience in a business development, research & analysis role Strong analytical and research skills and ability to interpret data Self-motivated with strong work ethic Excellent written and verbal communication Strong ability to network and build relationships Entrepreneurial and commercial mindset This is a great opportunity to join a business with 60+ year history in the Australian business community, strong networks across various industries, with potential for career growth and mentorship in a flat business structure.
