Communications Manager (Internal & External) MARS Recruitment are partnering with a growing, innovative and high-performing technology company who are looking for a Communications Manager to join the team.
This role is responsible for delivering both internal and external communications for the organisation.
You will manage external and internal communications, ensuring strategic messaging to media, government, the public, and internal stakeholders.
Your focus will be on public relations, media relations, content creation, and employee engagement through internal communication channels.
Responsibilities: Manage the development of content for media and public communications, including press releases, presentations, pitches, and media kits.
Plan, coordinate, and execute PR and communications campaigns in collaboration with internal teams.
Identify and source news-worthy student case studies for media and internal purposes across all partner brands.
Conceptualise and create media kits, including writing press releases and coordinating visual assets.
Work with key internal stakeholders to identify newsworthy innovations/products and developments for media use.
Manage the Linked In page and other social media accounts as required.
Drive media relations and cultivate enduring connections with journalists, editors, and influencers to attain favourable media coverage that aligns with organisational KPIs.
Develop and implement internal communications strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
Collaborate with HR and Communications teams to design and execute internal communications that encourage high performance and celebrate diversity.
Manage distribution of internal communications to ensure appropriate channels are used.
Organise and manage internal events, including weekly updates and quarterly All Hands.
Develop internal communication plans for the launch of new partnerships/products/investments.
Provide internal communications advice to senior executives.
Build relationships across the business and develop a network to create reflective content of activities across all departments.
Ensure that the values of Integrity, Teamwork, Agility & Innovation and Passion & Perseverance are conveyed in messaging where appropriate.
Support HR team to promote the organisation's EVP in alignment with corporate messaging and positioning.
Drive responses to ad hoc requests for communications support and advice from internal stakeholders.
Criteria: Bachelor's degree in Communications or a relevant field.
Ability to communicate effectively to different audiences.
7+ years Communications experience.
High-level strategic skills, stakeholder management and content briefing.
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with cross-functional teams.
The ability to work and communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders including CEO and senior executives.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to handle multiple tasks and take accountability for those tasks, prioritizing them appropriately whilst maintaining a strong dialogue around progress on projects and issues.
Successful management of individual goals and development plans.
