Werribee Mercy Hospital is located in the Outer West of Melbourne and 20 minutes from Melbourne's CBD.
The hospital is located in the highest growth area in Melbourne and home to a culturally diverse community.
Werribee Mercy Hospital is a major metropolitan hospital with a diverse and challenging casemix and provides acute adult services across medicine, surgery, maternity, critical care, ambulatory care as well as mental health.
Nephrology provides a consultative service to General Medicine.
The role will encompass the following: clinical support time to provide medical governance leadership in the portfolio renal on call/recall with associated inpatient sessions support for the satellite renal dialysis unit About the opportunity: Provide delivery of nephrology inpatient sessions and oncall/recall Contribute to service evaluation, development and research Display a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in nephrology What you'll bring: You're resilient, compassionate and have a whole lot of heart.

You will also be required to provide evidence of: Medical registration with (AHPRA) Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency Specialist and General Registration with no restrictions with (AHPRA) Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency Fellowship in the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), or equivalent Relevant experience in specialist nephrology services A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
