Consultant Paediatric Nephrologist Monash Children's Hospital's Department of Nephrology is seeking a suitably qualified medical practitioner to join the Department.
Applicants must hold Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) with Specialist recognition as a paediatric nephrologist.
The position is offered on a fixed-term part-time basis for 12 months with the option to move to a permanent appointment assuming satisfactory performance.
About the Role This is a 0.2 EFT fixed-term position for 12 months from commencement at the Monash Children's Hospital.
The successful applicant must have strong clinical skills in the care of inpatients and outpatients with acute and chronic paediatric renal diseases in a tertiary hospital setting.
Experience in the management of peritoneal dialysis, haemodialysis, apheresis, renal transplantation is essential.
Experience is also necessary in performing renal biopsies.
