PCWhitehall & Sons is currently seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our team in Melbourne VIC.
The contract administrator will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of contract administration.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and negotiate contracts, scope of works and agreements with suppliers, clients, and subcontractors.
Manage all related paperwork associated with contracts, programs, and projects and respond to any queries from suppliers and clients.
Ensure that all contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
Responsible for contract renewals, variations, and contract terminations.
Assess and approve invoices and progress claims as per contract.
Assess and approve subcontractor variations.
Maintain records and documentation related to all contracts.
Assist in cost reporting, budget transfer, and calculation of head contract variations.
Calculate and submit contract extension of time claims.
Resolve contract disputes and address issues in a timely manner.
Requirements: Qualifications in Construction Project Management or similar.
At least 2 years experience as a Contract Administrator or in a similar role.
Knowledge of contract law and legal terminology.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
