We are looking for a qualified and talented Corporate Accountant who has worked in a project-based environment.
Reporting to our Financial Controller, you will provide support across all areas of the function spanning payroll, insurance, risk and governance, standards and company finance policies across the Kapitol Group of companies.
What you'll do: Assist with preparation of Monthly Management Reports incorporating key KPI's including variance analysis Assist with statutory reporting and accounts Assist with annual budgets, financial audits, and business planning processes Project and month end closing processes Support the preparation of bank reporting packs ERP system management and maintenance Balance Sheet reconciliation and analysis Administration of General Ledger and Fixed Asset Register Coordinate and prepare tax submissions including FBT Dealing with ad-hoc financial queries Proactively work with team to resolve queries Support the group with continuous improvement About you: A genuine passion for corporate accounting Tertiary qualification in Accounting or equivalent CPA or CA qualification desirable Circa 3+ years' experience in a similar project-based accounting role Experience with Jobpac or other construction accounting software preferred High level of proficiency with MS Excel Skilled communicator - able to communicate complex issues with clarity and ease Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills Able to prioritise, plan ahead and handle competing, shifting priorities Work well autonomously and in a team setting What you'll get: Investment in training with the aim to have the best trained workforce in the industry Free health assessments for all staff Paid parental leave for both primary and secondary care givers Fast-tracked career development opportunities and support our staff through mentoring, workshops and retreats Industry-leading internal communication channels to break down silos across sites, allowing staff to share ideas, lessons learnt and other resources.
