Design Manager - Major 2nd tier builder (Multi-disciplinary projects) Our Client is a well-known 2nd tier multi-disciplinary specialist based in the CBD.
They have been in operation for over 25 years and specialize in government, institutional, and apartment projects ranging in value from $5 M - $200 M+.
These market sectors are increasingly adopting the design & construct path, so our Client is looking to secure the services of a capable design manager to manage the design on a high-profile mixed-use commercial new build.
The role will be split between site and head office and will oversee all design-related aspects of the project.
It will serve as the conduit between the consultants, the Client, and the project team, with a heavy focus on value-engineering while ensuring adherence to the design brief.
To be considered, you will be tertiary qualified in a design/architecture or construction-related field.
You will have previous experience (working for the builder) managing the design process on apartment, institutional, and commercial projects.

Due to market conditions, we're open to considering established Design Managers as well as Design Coordinators who are ready to make the jump, with a salary range from $130,000 - $180,000 depending on previous experience.
