The primary objective is to ensure that workforce rosters align with operational needs, adhere to applicable regulatory instruments and Gipps SAFE policies, foster robust stakeholder relationships, and demonstrate a high level of professionalism in work ethic and perspective. Duties Reporting to the General Manager & Operations Manager, the Duty Manager will work in an office-based environment and will be responsible for a range of workforce planning and rostering activities including: Rostering security operations within a dynamic and busy 24/7 operation Ensuring effective and efficient resourcing models and shift coverage utilizing Guardhouse and Microsoft Office. Roster employees in accordance with the Security Services Industry Award, contractual requirements, service levels and KPI's Liaise with operational managers and other team members for new staff placements, Managing training matrix's to ensure appropriate skills and qualifications are maintained and documented. Manage absentee calls and annual leave requests to ensure continuous and appropriate shift coverage Assist with, and respond to, pay, leave and rostering related enquiries Compile reports and data including end of month information Delivering excellent customer service to all stakeholders Benefits and perks Values based company culture, with an inclusive and energetic team Ongoing learning and development opportunities Up to 4 weeks of annual leave per year Permanent full time position Weekdays Skills and experience Victorian Security License Driver's License Strong communication and relationship building skills Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel Prior experience in managing site security operations/rostering in a similar sector (highly desirable) Effective time management and organisational skills Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions within a regulated environment Ability to work with minimal supervision Effective written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail Ability to work as a member of the leadership team and maintain confidentiality around commercially sensitive and personal information Be able to work from an Office 5 days a week (Monday to Friday) This is a position of trust and responsibility and to support this we will conduct a thorough probity assessment, which includes a National police check as an essential selection component for this role.
