What You Will Be Doing An opportunity exists to join the Support Services Team as a Casual Environmental Services Assistant.
The Environmental Services Assistants contribute to a clean, safe and comfortable environment for patients, visitors and staff.
The successful applicant will be well-versed in all aspects of cleaning including floor care and waste removal.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to take the initiative, respond to changes in cleaning requirements, prioritise tasks, and problem solve.
What You Need We anticipate you will have: An understanding of infection control practices applicable to cleaning.
Previous experience in a similar role.
Demonstrated verbal and written communication to be able to follow instructions, answer patient and carer queries, and meet OHS requirements.
The ability to complete tasks unsupervised and work well within a team.
Previous experience in a healthcare environment would be advantageous.
