About Our Role Kinrise is home to some of Australia's most iconic household brands such as Green's, Cobs, Poppin, Lolly Gobble, and Lowan alongside a large Private Label portfolio distributed within all Australian major grocery retailers.
In this role you will report to the General Manager and contribute as a key member to the Baking Leadership Team as a driver of bringing innovation to life by developing and deploying product plans across the Baking, Bakery, Breakfast & Pantry categories, in line with our growth strategy.
Leading all product development functions, this role oversees teams of dedicated R&D product developers and food technicians, located at Hallam, Melbourne and Glendenning, Sydney who design and execute key product innovation and renovation projects, as well as drive continuous process improvements in all Baking Division plans.
Your impact is end-to-end, from the product conceptualisation and recipe development, through to trial, factory validation, and commercial production.
In this role you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure excellence and the timely execution of the innovation strategy and key product projects in the pipeline.
About You As our preferred candidate, you are an experienced, proactive, hands on, technical expert who enjoys leading, coaching and developing teams to achieve high levels of performance and engagement.
You are commercially savvy, driven to achieve, and excited about an ambitious growth agenda.
You have a Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Food Science / Technology or related Science disciplines, and are proficient in driving teams to manage multiple projects, end to end, within timelines.
Your solution orientated mindset, along with your exceptional problem-solving skills and analytical reasoning, set you apart from your peers.
Your stakeholder management is well honed, as is your ability to partner, influence and communicate to all levels of the business.
