About The Role: AGL's telco division is a rapidly growing segment, recognized as one of Australia's fastest-expanding telco businesses.
It plays a crucial role by offering integrated NBN and mobile products, enhancing customer value through bundled energy and telco services.
The Head of Telco Product & Pricing directs strategy and operations, encompassing commercial pricing, product development, digital technology, customer experience, and market implementation.
You will spearhead strategic partnerships, optimize customer experience and portfolio economics, and drive digital transformation and product innovation to achieve growth and retention objectives.
Strengthening partnerships and exploring M&A opportunities are also integral aspects of their role.
What you'll be doing: Drive telco business strategy for AGL and Southern Phone, focusing on product suite, M&A, and partnerships.
Develop long-term roadmaps and manage lifecycle of telco products.
Drive quarterly go-to-market plans and decommissioning initiatives.
Support go-to-market activities for telco products, collaborating across teams.
Ensure successful delivery of initiatives, focusing on network quality, features, and digital sales efficiency.
Lead digital and technology delivery to prioritize and execute changes.
Establish and monitor KPIs for team and product initiatives.
Ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate risks.
Identify and leverage partnerships to achieve telco commercial objectives.
Manage and coach a high-performing, cross-functional team.
About you: Demonstrated experience as a leader in telecommunications roles (or highly related industries), with a focus on product management and strategy.
Proven experience leading cross-functional teams, ideally within a telco or related-industry environment.
Strong experience in managing P&L responsibilities, including budgeting, forecasting and financial performance analysis.
Demonstrated experience in product development and lifecycle management.
Ability to operate within complex legal and regulatory frameworks and leverage competitive advantage within product design.
Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute plans aligned to broader business objectives.
