Manufacturing Engineer

Using your manufacturing skills, work with operations and engineering at a Motion Control Systems business in Heatherton, driving CI and supporting development projects.

Located in Heatherton Leading global supplier designing and manufacturing mission critical defence solutions for the APAC region Benefits of working for here: Values driven organisation Great team culture Be part of an organisation committed to keeping our country safe Full time permanent role – up to $115 K + super Clean and organized working environment Profit share program for employees What you'll be doing: Providing engineering support for the manufacture of defense products Drive and lead continuous improvement activities Drive resolution of manufacturing and supplier quality issues Identify, design and/or implement changes in equipment related to operations, facilities, proposals and projects.
Design and/or commission production lines for assembly and test of precision electromechanical devices Generate and maintain documentation required for the manufacture of defense products What we are looking for (selection criteria): Must be Australian Citizen with or ability to obtain national security clearance Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical or Mechatronics preferable) Experience with electromechanical manufacturing Leadership experience highly regarded – while it's not a management role, you can lead by positive influence Experience operating with excellence in ISO audited environments Demonstrable experience with documentation aptitude and diligence Lean or Six Sigma experience highly advantageous Experience with Continuous Improvement and Change Management To apply for this role, please submit your up to date resume with detailed covering letter that addresses your suitability to the selection criteria .
