The role: As Sycle's operational capabilities continue to grow, we have created a fresh opportunity for an Operations & Maintenance Supervisor to join their team in Avalon.
Your impact: Working with our wider Operations & Maintenance team, your presence will ensure our assets are maintained as per company standards.
Your every day: Ensuring best practice maintenance methodology is implemented and adhered to.
Coordinating the preventative maintenance and repairs to the logistics fleet efficiently and safely to minimise downtime.
Overseeing expenditure on repairs and maintenance and manage in accordance with budget requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase safety, productivity and efficiency within the two business areas of Asset Reliability & Fleet Operations.
Enforce and uphold absolute safety standards across the Fleet and Maintenance teams.
Who are you? Experience working with Prime Movers & other Heavy Rigid Trucks, and Earthmoving Equipment.
Preferred experience working within a quarry setting / waste / general construction.
Valid driver's license.
Strong knowledge of COR, VIC road rules & Heavy Vehicle industry regulations.
Ideally come from a mechanical / maintenance background, bonus points if you are a trade qualified mechanic.
Excellent communication skills and an ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
