Assembly & Process Work (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Global manufacturer providing central cooling solutions for commercial and industrial applications is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead their production team.

Reporting through to the General Manager Manufacturing – Asia, you will lead a team of approximately 35 production specialists and be driven to provide a positive and happy working environment.
Responsible for overall manufacturing activities, with a focus both locally and in Asia, you will contribute to the production strategy and create and implement a best practice manufacturing vision with a high priority on workplace health and safety.
You will also develop and implement variable cost productivity programs and a customer-focused operational culture.
Nurturing, developing, and growing your team is a key component of this role.
It is essential that you can coach and mentor, with a high-performance mandate and a pursuit to deliver continuous improvement.
A sound financial acumen is required as you will be responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance of the manufacturing operations.
Building strong internal relationships with finance, sales, engineering, IT, and HR is very important, as well as not losing focus on the key external stakeholders.
Ideally, you will be degree qualified in a relevant engineering/manufacturing discipline.
You will have demonstrated experience of leading a manufacturing function.
A strong stakeholder manager and confident negotiator, you will be an excellent communicator with the ability to influence.
Self-motivated, you will portray a problem-solving mindset, be commercially focused, and have the ability to build a strong team ethos.
