Job Description Our New Plymouth facility is looking for an experienced Phased Array Inspector to join our talented NDT & Materials Engineering team.
Our client base is extensive, and we operate in all major industrial groups from dairy, power generation, oil and gas, chemical, pulp and paper process plants through to constructions, building and light engineering.
Reporting to the Operational Manager, the primary responsibility of the Inspector's role is to carry out PAUT, general NDT and welding inspections in accordance with relevant codes and standards to ensure our client requirements are met.
This can be testing on a variety of products and components covering metals, plastics, construction, and building materials.
The Inspector also provides consultancy services to assist our clients with their technical challenges and maintenance.
Qualifications If you have the below qualities, we are interested to hear from you: ISO 9712 Phased Array certification is essential and a minimum of 2 other Level 2 certifications such as: MT, PT, ET, RT, UT, Coatings, Welding, API's, etc.
Minimum 8 years practical work experience in NDT.
Minimum 5 years in PAUT experience.
Customer and client service focus.
A current driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites around NZ.
Able to use computers and technology.
Able to work well with others in a team environment.
