Based at our Mitchem operation in Victoria, our facility manufactures personalised smart cards for the finance sector in accordance with quality and operating standards.
The Production Technologist will focus on (70%) machine operation and (30%) supporting the Equipment Engineer in the basic repair of our machines.
This is a Monday to Friday position with working hours between 6am-10pm (shifts are 7.6 hours).
Some key responsibilities include: Operating the machine to support production.
Perform full machine operation and auto-control by following specification and sample provided.
Responsible for machine set up and adjustment.
Support equipment breakdown, preventive maintenance and machine troubleshooting.
Reduce equipment downtime, increase Mean Time between Failure (MTBF) and reduce Mean Time To Repair (MTTR).
Participate and support in continuous projects and programs within the team.
Support in new product introduction and development.
On day one you will come with: 5+ years' experience in machine operation within a fast-paced environment.
Possess basic Mechatronic knowledge.
Ability to use Mechanic Repair tools.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work within a team environment.
