About the Role: We are currently looking for two experienced Project Controllers to join our growing Procurement Controls team on a full-time permanent capacity based at our CBD head office.
Reporting to the Team Lead Procurement Controls, this position will be responsible for supporting the successful procurement of goods and services for Beon's project and maintenance contracts by providing end-to-end procurement expertise.
This includes the planning, processing, and administering procurement activities in accordance with project objectives, contract requirements, procurement policies, and in conjunction with the Beon Procurement Team.
This position will ensure that procurement requests are well planned, meet business and governance requirements, drive business value, and manage stakeholder and supplier relationships during tendering, contract negotiation, and contract administration.
About you: The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background working on infrastructure projects providing end-to-end procurement support with a continuous improvement mindset.
In addition, this candidate will also have the ability to manage demand and delivery expectations, have well-developed verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and reporting skills with attention to detail.
In this role you will deliver: End-to-end project management of procurement of key project deliverables including operation & maintenance, services & equipment through tender stage, contract execution, design, development, manufacture & commissioning.
Manage tendering processes for the relevant project and coordinate efforts with project team support functions, including communicating and engaging with Beon Procurement Specialist.
Manage the sourcing process for procurement engagements.
Manage or support as required the evaluation and negotiation process, incorporating technical, commercial, and operational outcomes.
Facilitate monthly review meetings with key project stakeholders to review and report procurement activities with the goal of ensuring successful delivery of objectives.
Proactively seek out ways to further improve the team and/or personal delivery and impact.
To succeed in this role you will have: Proven well-developed stakeholder, relationship management, and supplier management experience.
Demonstrated commitment and evidence of being a credible role model, consistently delivering, working, and supporting others aligned with organisational values.
Experience procuring equipment in Major Infrastructure Projects would be highly advantageous.
Knowledge of electrical and civil construction methodology and integration of this into procurement activities for project lifecycle would be advantageous.
Bachelor's Degree Qualification in areas of Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Commerce or Business would be advantageous.
