Purchasing Officer – Immediately Start Are you an immediately available Purchasing Officer, looking for your next role? Do you want to work in a global company that takes great pride in their people? Do you have experience in purchasing using SAP? About our role: A great opportunity as a Purchasing Officer is immediately available.
In this role you will support the replenishment of raw and packaging materials to the site, as well as monitoring Vendor KPI's to ensure the availability of all product lines in order to meet production schedules.
Daily responsibilities include: MRP via SAP of all packaging, raw materials and all other ingredients (fast-moving stock) Raising purchase orders from purchase requisitions in line with min/max levels.
Running reports to check SOH of all materials are in line with warehouse capacity.
Communicating weekly incoming/outgoing stock with warehouse team.
SAP reporting Following up any outstanding deliveries from previous day.
Cycle counting of production consumables, chemicals and ordering as required.
Other responsibilities include: Monthly stocktakes of chemicals and ingredients.
Monthly communication, with support of site manager and planner, of projected forecast for major imported ingredients and packaging.
Creation of POs and assisting with processing invoices via SAP.
About you: Experience in purchasing using SAP for fast moving consumables.
Experience with inventory control or warehousing.
Microsoft Office 365 knowledge.
Strong administration and excel skills.
Proven ability to manage working relationships across warehouse operations.
Strong planning and organisational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as good numerical ability.
Ability to work under pressure.
A team player.
