Rigid Truck Driver Hgv

This is a permanent role based in Ashbourne - The shift patterns will vary but will be between the hours of 5am- 4pm. What Do We Want? A rigid truck driver (class 2) who takes pride in and enjoys what they do. Required licence and previous experience in this role. All CPC's in date. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience in completing multi-drop deliveries for the Leinster area. Ability to load and unload a truck using appropriate MHE. Attention to detail and accuracy when checking and completing documentation. Flexibility with hours, although the set standard hours are 6:00am - 15:00pm. What will your day-to-day look like? Complete walk-around checks on your vehicle and report any maintenance issues to management in a timely manner adhering to Primeline Health & Safety policy. Check all orders against manifests and sign on receipt of orders. Follow the route plan provided to you. Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed and accurate at each delivery. Load/unload the vehicle using PPT. Interact with customer service detailing any issues in a timely manner. Return once your route is completed and provide POD paperwork. What skills do you need for this role? Full clean C licence. Digital Tach Card. Completed 4 modules of CPC Training. 3-5 years relevant experience in Ireland driving Rigid trucks. Fluent in English verbal & written. Ability to meet deadlines. Flexibility. Must be available to work in the Leinster region. Here is what we can offer you? Full-time permanent role.
