You ll bring extensive culinary experience, a love for seasonal produce, and a proven track record in high-volume service. Your role will focus on team leadership, training, and service excellence. Key Responsibilities Assist the Executive Chef in menu creation and service execution Oversee daily operations and mentor team members Manage stock, and labour costs, and ensure kitchen efficiency Full-time availability, including weekends and holidays About You Experience in a Similar Role Strong leadership, calm demeanour, and ability to work under pressure Experience in managing high volume kitchens Expertise in food safety, OH&S standards Passionate about creating memorable dishes Champion of a positive kitchen culture, fostering creativity, calmness and resp About The Alpine Hotel We are located in beautiful Warburton in the Yarra Valley Region, 90 minutes east of Melbourne. It is the place to Eat, Drink & Sleep. The hotel consists of 32 rooms of accommodation lovingly restored to its former glory, a public bar, dining areas, a private dining room, function areas, and a beautiful beer garden overlooking the upper reaches of the Yarra River. We offer delicious seasonal menus highlighting the gastronomical delights for which the Yarra Valley is famous for, without forgetting where our traditional roots lie.
