As Statement Manager, you will be responsible for the end to end management and overseeing the development, preparation, and delivery of statements across FNZ APAC Australia.
This will involve partnering with staff across the delivery lifecycle and leading a working group to proactively identify required changes and ensure delivery throughout the full plan lifecycle while ensuring effective management and resolution of risks and issues.
Your role ensures that all statements for customers are accurate, timely, and align with all requirements, fostering transparency and trust with stakeholders through project planning, milestone tracking and reporting.
You will also be responsible for engaging departments for all facets of delivery along with key communications with clients and auditors.
The responsibilities will include: Lead and manage project activities including initiation, planning, management and execution of implementation tasks and deliverables Plan documents and the preparation and review of regulatory statements, ensuring they meet compliance standards and are delivered on schedule Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., risk, legal, and compliance) to gather necessary data and ensure coherent messaging in regulatory statements.
Analyse statement data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement in reporting processes Continuously evaluate existing processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of regulatory statement preparation and distribution.
Prepare regular reports for senior management and clients on status, challenges, and areas of concern.
Build strong working relationships with all key stakeholders including Solution Consultants, Project and Delivery Managers, Client Directors and Operations Managers across FNZ to build and execute statement delivery plans Have strong relationships with 3rd party suppliers and ensure they are engaged appropriately and managed to ensure the required outcomes for FNZ.
Assist in the day-to-day execution of the statements output, including managing meetings, following up with operational leaders and driving issues identified for resolution.
What are we ideally looking for in a successful candidate? 5+ years' experience in the financial service industry preferably investment/wealth/life and/or pensions products and the markets in which FNZ and our customers operate in Demonstrable experience managing complex projects Degree qualified preferred Strong internal and external stakeholder engagement skills Demonstrable experience in Project Management and effectively managing projects Experience in regulatory reporting, compliance, or financial reporting An understanding of the regulatory environment FNZ operates within Experience managing 3rd party suppliers Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in reporting tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, regulatory compliance software) Strong leadership and team management skills High level of self-awareness and emotional intelligence, possessing strong leadership, communication and influencing skills.
