You will support the delivery of City of Port Phillip's Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Program.
Reporting to the Senior Sustainability and Climate Change Officer, a key focus of your role will be to coordinate the delivery of the Private Electric Vehicle Charging model for Council.
You will provide a high level of project management/ delivery skills and work collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver Council's objectives and support Port Phillip community in their transition to electric vehicles.
What You Might Do Undertake the role of project lead (or project team member) to deliver the private EV charging project.
Develop and maintain external partnerships to improve sustainability outcomes, with a focus on electric vehicle charging.
Identify, mitigate, and resolve project related issues.
Identify new innovations and technologies for EV charging, and relevant planning requirements to achieve project objectives.
Work collaboratively across the organisation to deliver the private EV charging project and its objectives.
Actively contribute to a culture of professional practice focused on customer service and value for the community.
Who We Are Looking For Tertiary Degree in sustainability, engineering, or similar.
Relevant experience or lesser formal qualifications in sustainability, transport engineering or related discipline.
Excellent skills in project management and project delivery.
Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and excellent stakeholder management skills.
