We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values a positive team culture, and has an excellent work ethic and friendly demeanour.
This is a great opportunity for a person to become involved in our rapidly growing sign writing company, and the position will provide support and work very closely with the design & trade team.
This role is a permanent part-time position with flexible working hours to suit school parents.
The start date for employment will be between now and December, but we can offer casual hours with training and handover in the lead up to our current Accounts Manager leaving.
If you are looking for an opportunity to utilise your strengths in account management and business development and feel you have the following attributes, please apply for this role: Your Duties will include: Maintain daily bank reconciliation & cash flow management Trade creditors - entering invoices and ensuring all bills are paid by due date Maintain a high level of client service Review of Trade Debtors, chasing overdue invoices Weekly payroll - pay employees (including any reimbursements), file payroll with ATO through Xero Preparation, lodgment and payment of monthly BAS Applications for government grants, will need to link your My Gov account Payment of superannuation and rent High level review of financial statements Assisting with hiring new staff The ideal candidate will have: High attention to detail Experience using Xero software or similar An approachable, friendly, and positive personality Ability to be flexible and operate in a dynamic environment Work independently and as part of a team Client focused Follow safe work practices and report workplace hazards Multitasking and time management skills Requirements: Ability to work on site; this is not a work from home position.
