Stawell Gold Mine is an underground gold mine located in Stawell; 236 km north-west of Melbourne. This historic region is known for its rich heritage in the exploration, discovery and production of gold. Stawell Gold Mines has an opening for an Apprentice Electrician. Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you will: Health, safety & environment Provide Surface and Underground Electrical Installation and Process Support Complete all paperwork as required by the Electrical Supervisor Compliant electrical installations Understand daily priorities Ensure all electrical work complies with AS3000 and SGM electrical standards (SGM-SE06) Undertake Trade School requirements Skills and experience required: Minimum Year 11 pass at Secondary School Relevant VCAL studies or School Based Apprenticeship Victorian Manual Driver's Licence Previous experience working with electrical circuits Analytical and problem-solving skills Good literacy and numeracy skills Ability to follow instructions safely This residential role offers you excellent work-life balance and real career growth prospects.
