We have an opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our Finance team based in Dandenong, South, Victoria.
Your main duties are to: Collaborate with Finance and Sales professionals to maintain accounts receivableTelephone collections on overdue debtors, striving for that 1st call resolutionCompile and process information on all assigned debtors on aged trial balanceEnsure customers are billed correctly for goods and services offeredIssue invoices and distribute them electronically or by mailCommunicate with customers and co-workers to answer questionsResolve disagreements between the company and its debtorsRequest payment of pending debts in a firm yet considerate mannerNegotiate payment arrangements when neededKeep accurate records (customer information, received payments etc.)Prepare and submit statementsDaily cash allocations on all payments receivedEnsure you adhere to company policies and proceduresProvide excellent customer service internally and externallyWork actively to reach team and individual key performance indicatorsProcess customer account applications, credit notes, and credit card paymentsManage collections for C.O.D customersManage milestone collections for project customersProvide detailed reports on overdue debtorsOther duties and responsibilities as assigned or requiredApplicants will need: To be highly organised and resourceful under pressureTo have excellent communication skills and the ability to create a strong rapport with customersTo be quick paced with attention to detailA 'can do' attitude, reliable, efficient and a strong focus on customer salesThe ability to work autonomously as well as have a team mentality with a positive attitudeA good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Excel is requiredExperience in SAP and MFG Pro would be highly advantageous.Special AccommodationIf you are a person with a disability and need assistance applying for a job, please submit a request.
