We have an exciting permanent opportunity for an Office Manager to join a food manufacturing company in Derrimut! Your Organisation This Australian owned food manufacturing company is experiencing considerable growth and is looking for an Administration Manager to join their team of 100 employees.

Your Role Reporting to the CEO, this is a broad role encompassing both Office Management as well as HR Advice.
It would suit either an HR Advisor who is comfortable taking on Office Administration Management or an Administration Manager who has had some exposure to HR and employee relations.
This role will include: Manage day-to-day office operations, phone calls, emails, and correspondence Order stationary/office supplies Manage office budgets, monitor expenses, including vendor management and procurement Onboard new employees Provide administrative support to the CEO and executive team, including managing schedules, coordinating travel, and preparing reports Assist with arranging staff events Assist with ad-hoc project support and administration for the wider leadership team Provide advice and support in relation to all employee relations matters, performance management, disciplinary and grievance procedures, absence management, and separations Handle complex employee relations cases, mediating between employees and management, and making recommendations to resolve disputes Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs, ensuring they are in line with business values, current employment law, and best practice Administer the HR information systems, ensuring that data is accurately recorded, and the system is used to its full potential Provide training and development support to line managers on HR policies and procedures Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and provide accurate and timely advice on generalist HR issues Assist with the implementation of key HR initiatives such as talent mapping, succession planning, performance management, engagement surveys, and recognition programs.
This is a diverse operational role where you will enjoy autonomy in undertaking your day-to-day tasks whilst also collaborating closely with your manager.
About You You will be an experienced Administration or HR Manager able to hit the ground running with all areas of operational office management as well as general employee relations knowledge and be comfortable running investigations and performance management processes.
Tertiary qualified in HR, Business or another related discipline, you will be looking for an opportunity where you can truly contribute your value to a business as both an HR and Administration Management professional and not be afraid to challenge the status quo.
You will be willing to take on culture-focused activities like arranging Social Events, some travel arrangements, event management, and office facilities management.
You will be required to demonstrate proof of permanent working rights in Australia to be considered for this opportunity.
