Role Summary: The Hospital Coordinator, in conjunction with the executive team is responsible for: Leading the nursing team to ensure a high standard of clinical service delivery and outcomes are met and complying with relevant legislation and care standards.
Ensuring the operational and clinical requirements of the hospital are met in an afterhours capacity with the support of the executive team.
Selection Criteria: Well-developed clinical nursing and management experience at a senior level in an acute psychiatric care setting.
Consultative leadership style and ability to build rapport and effective relations with key stakeholders.
Highly developed interpersonal skills, conflict management and negotiation skills.
Have a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Quality Management System and requirements for accreditation.
Have a thorough understanding of continuous improvement, OH&S and risk management.
A strong commitment to customer service and quality outcomes.
Ability to strategically plan and positively implement change.
