We are looking for an Area Sales Manager, based in Australia (preferably Melbourne but can be discussed further depending on the candidate) to focus on further establishing and driving UPM Raflatac's Graphics business growth agenda across Oceania and Southeast Asia.
The position will be region focused, and be responsible for the sales and promotion of the Graphics solutions product portfolio.
This will entail engaging directly with existing, and developing new merchant partners, printers and other relevant sales channels.
The Area Sales Manager will ensure customer requirements are fulfilled and solutions are provided resulting in a high level of customer satisfaction at the merchant partners, printers and end users, ultimately resulting in sales growth.
This is for the most part a business development position, and would suit a candidate who is self-driven, has excellent communication and presentation skills, is currently working in or has experience in the Graphics industry, is willing to travel, and is not afraid to step into a challenging role.
What you will do Direct sales, business development, and account management functions for UPM Raflatac's Graphics customers and merchant partners.
This includes business planning, building customer relationships across multiple levels within the customer's organisation, forecasting demand in partnership with customers, pricing in adherence to UPM's pricing policy and practices.
Collaborate with internal partners (customer service, product management, fulfilment and logistics) to ensure customer commitments are met.
Increase internal market intelligence by understanding and communicating customer needs and market feedback.
Create customer satisfaction by exhibiting a drive to exceed customer expectations.
Engage in new business development to include lead generation, qualification and development, building sales pipelines and projects, resulting in new sales for UPM Raflatac.
Plan and execute effective sales plans in order to meet and exceed KPI's.
Who you are You have a bachelor's degree in business or equivalent/relevant experience.
You have five to ten years' experience in sales or a commercial role (experience within the Graphics industry will be highly regarded).
You possess a deep technical and commercial understanding of the Graphics market.
You have experience in relationship/account management.
You are fluent in English (additional Asian language skills will be a bonus).
