Your new role We have an opportunity for two individuals to join our Assessment team as Officers on a 12-month fixed-term basis.
Reporting to the Manager - Complaint & Services, the role will manage a caseload focused on timely assessment of public sector and police misconduct complaints and notifications.
Duties include: Assess complaints, notifications and enquiries received by IBAC relating to corruption or serious misconduct by public officers and government bodies, including police conduct.
Engage with complainants via telephone, email, and formal correspondence in line with IBAC service delivery charter.
Prepare and provide formal referral correspondence to enquiries, complaints and notifications.
Receive enquiries (verbal or written) and make recommendations for further action based on IBAC's policies, procedures, guidelines and relevant legislation.
We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities: Experience in using case management and complaints management / handling systems.
Significant experience in responding to Government enquiries.
Demonstrated ability to think critically and analytically and deliver high quality work with precision and accuracy.
