We are looking for a talented professional to join our Facilities & Assets Branch as an Asset Planner.
Full Time This role allows for flexible working arrangements and as part of the package, Council will also provide relocation assistance to help support a move to the region.
Job Number: R2540 Applications Close: 4pm, Thursday 24 October 2024 About the Opportunity In this pivotal role, you will manage our Infrastructure Asset Registers, including Geographical Information Systems (GIS).
You will be instrumental in developing and optimising processes for asset data collection, storage, retrieval, and presentation for Council.
Your responsibilities will also include compiling accurate financial valuations, condition reports, and conducting modelling and analysis.
As a senior member of the team, your recommendations will directly influence the management of the Council's assets.
Collaboration with various Council Departments will be essential as you implement an integrated Asset Management Data System and contribute to the development of the Asset Management Framework, with a focus on long-term Capital Works Programs.
What you will bring Ideally the successful applicant will have the following: Tertiary qualifications in Data Management and/or Analysis, Engineering, Finance, Project Management, or business-related fields.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Strategic Asset Management preferably in the public sector.
Experience in supporting an environment of efficient and effective collaboration and teamwork.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyse and distribute large amounts of information with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
A current Driver Licence.
Salary and conditions The position is classified within Band 7 of Council's Current Enterprise Agreement ranging from $101,930to$114,058per annum plus statutory superannuation.
