Join our dynamic Melbourne Environment and Biodiversity Team, an expanding group with a robust portfolio of projects.
As a key player in this role, you will spearhead environmental impact assessments, navigating both Victorian and Commonwealth approvals processes, including Environment Effects Statements and Environmental Impact Statements.
You'll engage in a variety of National, State, and local infrastructure and development projects, with a special emphasis on renewable energy, maritime transport (both nearshore and offshore), water resources, and mine rehabilitation.
Additionally, you'll contribute to the execution and delivery of our environmental business strategy, playing a pivotal role in the ongoing growth and development of Arup's environmental practice in Victoria and throughout the Australasian region.

What will I do? Leadership in Environmental Impact Assessments: Drive and lead comprehensive environmental impact assessments, ensuring compliance with Victorian and Commonwealth approvals processes, including Environment Effects Statements (EES) and Environmental Impact Statements (EIS).
Project Management Across Diverse Sectors: Manage and oversee National, State, and local infrastructure and development projects, with a particular focus on renewable energy, nearshore and offshore maritime transport, water resources, and mine rehabilitation.
Strategic Execution and Delivery: Contribute to the successful execution and delivery of our environmental business strategy, fostering the continued growth and development of Arup's environmental practice within Victoria and the broader Australasian region.
Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success and sustainability, leveraging expertise across various sectors to deliver innovative and effective environmental solutions.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goals and objectives.
Innovation and Best Practices: Champion the integration of cutting-edge technologies and best practices in environmental assessments, continuously improving processes and outcomes.
