We are One Peninsula Health. What You Will Be Doing We have an exciting leadership in out Surgical Services Suite (SSS).
The SSS find itself in a unique position with growth and redevelopment of its Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) structure presenting an exciting opportunity for experienced Surgical Scrub/Scout nurses.
Moving toward a specialist model has provided an opportunity in the following Surgical Specialties for the employment of an ANUM: Orthopaedics The Successful applicant will become an integral part of the Surgery and Operating Suite Management team, providing leadership and guidance in relation to their specialties services.
They will demonstrate high level perioperative nursing experience, effective leadership skills, management experience, and possess the ability to influence the environment for their specialties services through improvements to systems and processes within an integrated model of operating.
A component of the ANUM role is an expectation to undertake a share of floor management shifts and thus an understanding of the overall perioperative environment is also required.
