About the Role Tintern Grammar seeks an experienced and strategic Head of Digital Learning to lead and innovate digital education across the school. Reporting to the Vice Principal and Director of Information & Technology Innovations, you will spearhead digital learning strategies, support staff in developing innovative practices, and nurture a culture of digital fluency to enhance the overall learning experience. This role includes a 0.4 FTE classroom teaching component. Key responsibilities include: Developing and communicating a school-wide digital learning vision. Collaborating on AI and data-informed educational initiatives and advancing assessment and feedback practices. Providing high-level oversight of the library and information systems to keep it a central, well-resourced hub for learning. Leading professional development to upskill staff in essential digital competencies. Driving digital transformation projects and supporting a digitally fluent community. About you The successful applicant will have: A strong ability to lead and communicate a comprehensive digital learning vision. Proven experience in enhancing pedagogical practices through digital solutions. Proficiency in ICT integration and contemporary educational platforms. Collaborative skills for working with leadership, staff, and external stakeholders. Competence in data-informed decision-making for teaching and wellbeing. Project management expertise to oversee digital technology initiatives. Experience in professional development for staff digital capabilities. A research-driven approach to integrating digital technologies and AI in education. Postgraduate qualifications in Digital Learning, Educational Leadership, or a related field. Experience in Learning and Development within the education sector. Familiarity with Schoolbox (Learning Management System). Active membership in professional educational technology organisations, reflecting a commitment to current industry trends.
