GLOBAL COMPANY ON A D365 FINOPPS JOURNEY LOOKING TO ADD TO THEIR TEAM, LONG 12-24 MONTH CONTRACT "AZURE INTEGRATION ENGINEER" 12-24 MONTH CONTRACT HYBRID WORKING SET UP - Western Suburbs A REAL CAREER DEFINING ROLE - AZURE INTEGRATION ENGINEER This global organisation has a huge D365 Fin Ops (D365 FO) project underway and requires the services of an Azure Integration Engineer / Developer for an 12-24 mth contract.
This is a hybrid role that will require 3 days in the office.
The IT Integration Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions using Azure Integration Services (AIS) within the enterprise architecture.
These will take the form of integrations between systems and from systems to/from data lakehouse.
The IT Integration Engineer will have a strong background in cloud integration, API management, and data integration.
Accountabilities Integration Design Collaborate with business analysts, vendor partners and organisational teams to gather requirements and design integration solutions that meet business needs.
Work with the Solution Architect, Technical Architect and other key IT team members on improvements to integration architecture.
Integration Development Develop integration solutions using Azure Integration Services, including Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, and Event Grid.
Implement APIs, data flows, and integration processes to ensure seamless data exchange between systems.
Participate on IT projects as a technology SME.
Monitor and Support Monitor and maintain APIs, data flows, and integration processes to ensure seamless data exchange between systems.
Monitor and troubleshoot integration solutions to ensure high availability and performance.
Assist with training for business teams on new technology systems.
Mentor junior or inexperienced IT team members in new development areas such as business analysis.
Documentation Develop and maintain documentation for integration solutions, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
Other duties as assigned Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in cloud integration and Azure services.
Mandatory Proven experience in designing and developing integration solutions using Azure Integration Services.
Strong knowledge of cloud integration, API management, and data integration.
Experience with Azure Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, and Event Grid.
Desirable Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Developer, Azure Solutions Architect).
Knowledge of Dev Ops practices and tools (e.g., Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins).
Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or equivalent.
