This opportunity is all about mapping out the market, targeting the following industries and major companies within the Melbourne Area and surrounding suburbs: Trades and sole contractors Major Earthmoving Fleets Hire Companies Local Councils How the role works: if you see, for example, an excavator on the back of a truck, you will flag down the driver and ask him what attachments he is using.
Or if you see an operator on the side of the road digging a trench, STOP and talk to him.
This is all about building relationships and winning them over by selling up the brand of attachments as well as making quick easy sales.
This role will see you talking to anyone and everyone that uses earthmoving machinery.
You will also be working with the earthmoving dealerships and major hire companies; you need to make regular calls to each and every one of the sites and work through with the reps on attachments packages and look to bulk sell to the customer.
The Ideal Candidate – If you have been selling attachments, earthmoving parts, service contracts, hydraulics, ground engaging tools, track pads, or anything related to earthmoving machinery, we want to talk to you.
You must be willing to travel throughout Melbourne, VIC.
You must be located in the South Eastern Side of Melbourne close to the office operation.
Proven salesman with excellent customer service skills.
CRM Database Experience.
Positive attitude, team player, and enjoy taking clients out for dinner.
Your target will be $300,000+ each month in retail sales.
You must be from within the earthmoving industry; you need to understand earthmoving machinery and know how to spec in attachments to customers or talk to operators to select the right equipment for the job.
Sales is number 1 in this role as you will be out on the road selling equipment.
Salary Package – In this role, it's all about progression.
