Behaviour Intervention Lead Location: Leeds (LS14 Area) Job Type: Temp to Permanent Salary: £21,000 - £23,000 Daily Rate: £.00 per day The Role: Veritas Education are currently working with an SEMH setting which supports learners between 5 - 16 years old with a varied range of Social, Emotional, Mental Health, and Behavioural needs.
The Behaviour Intervention Lead role will involve working alongside the behaviour team in managing all behaviour across the school, from classroom-based behaviour to more serious incidents/crisis moments around the school.
You will collaborate with support staff, teachers, SLT, and intervention staff to provide suitable, safe, nurturing, and effective behaviour management throughout the school week.
Requirements: Team Teach - Level 2 - This essential behaviour management training can be provided by Veritas Education prior to starting the position.
Experience supporting a range of age groups demonstrating potentially dangerous, at-risk, crisis-based, or challenging behaviour.
Knowledge of SEMH needs and other learning needs is preferred.
Resilience within the workplace and confidence in managing challenging and high-pressure situations while prioritising the learners' needs.
Comfortable working alongside varying professional staff in an educational or support-based setting.
Ideal Candidates: Individuals who have previously worked in youth centres, similar SEN schools, young offending centres, coaching backgrounds, and support work positions may be ideal candidates for the Behaviour Intervention Lead role.
