Role Overview In this full-time ongoing position (time fraction negotiable for the right candidate), you will work as a Behaviour Support Practitioner as part of a multidisciplinary team in a school setting.
The team comprises psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech pathologists, and is a close-knit and supportive team where coaching in the area of special education needs is provided through peer mentorship, supervision, and professional development.
No two days look the same; you will work alongside teaching staff in classrooms, independently consulting students, and providing learning and development for parents as well as teachers in the area of mental health in a special education context.
The school is a specialist school delivering an education for students with disabilities, high support needs, and/or developmental challenges.
