About the Role Own the planning, development and execution of the marketing activities that deliver against business objectives and targets for the Connected Care Digital Health strategy.
As the Digital Marketing Manager, you'll be accountable for managing the digital paid media program from set-up to implementation including keeping program stakeholders up to date on delivery of activity and performance.
The Health Insurance Member Marketing team are responsible for Bupa's member marketing activity which encompasses all communications reaching Health Insurance members through paid channels as well as selected other channels, including in-store.
This team manages Health Insurance member marketing activity for Blua, Bupa's Digital Health Platform.
Responsibilities The role of the Digital Marketing Manager will be to: Develop and manage Health Insurance member marketing activity for Connected Care, promoting Blua and its propositions and services through paid media channels to drive performance outcomes.
Support the Head of Marketing – Member to develop and deliver marketing and communication strategies to support our Blua business objectives.
Produce regular media forecasts, apply consistent testing methods for audiences & channels, build out audience segments for targeting and help guide on processes where industry certification is required across media partners, ensuring effective and efficient performance campaign activity.
Ensure precise, timely and effective execution of prioritised marketing campaigns within the relevant channels.
Adopt a test and learn approach to optimise campaign performance, leveraging the Blua CVP and product usage insights to continually test messages / proof points, creative and audience segments, feeding insights back to key Connected Care stakeholders and using them to inform plans.
Conduct regular reporting and analysis and actively contribute in weekly Blua performance meetings; providing recommendations for how to improve performance.
Ideate, validate, and assess marketing strategies to close strategic gaps and to help inform responses to business challenges and opportunities.
Lead the briefing process with creative and media agencies, ensuring briefs are clear and based on best practice to get the best from our marketing activity and contribute to achieving our objectives.
Actively collaborate, support and champion agile ways of working across the business and directly for Connected Care, enabling work to be delivered quickly and easily.
Support with broader Connected Care marketing activity as required, this may include but is not limited to website content, collateral development, events, in-store marketing, competitor reporting.
Skills & Experience Solid experience in marketing including end-to-end campaign delivery (creative and media) Demonstrated experience running digital media advertising campaigns and advanced understanding of digital marketing and the wider paid media landscape.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
Ex Media agency experience would be highly regarded.
A Tertiary qualification in Marketing or a related business discipline (essential) with post-graduate studies in Marketing or related business discipline (desirable) A demonstrated ability to work within a matrix team structure in a highly regulated industry to deliver business outcomes Advanced understanding and application of marketing communications principles and strategies including brief writing, creative and media assessment Ability to thrive in an evolving, changing and ambiguous working environment essential.
