As a Business Analyst, you will assess complex business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommend solutions that enable the Business to deliver against its objectives.
You will provide relevant project and business teams with expert knowledge and advice to help evaluate business requirements, assess possible solutions, and measure implementation against requirements.
The ability to break down complex problems into their constituent parts forms an essential part of this role.
What You'll Deliver With Us Identify and recommend strategic solutions to complex business challenges Develop investment decisions for high-value infrastructure & automation projects, analysing market trends, and collaborate with teams to optimize costs and drive high performance Gather and interpret information from a range of sources, and model data and processes to identify and recommend solutions Provide strategic and operational analysis and insights to support decision-making and drive business and customer benefits within the Network Operations area of Australia Ensure commercial risk management is actively practiced in delivery of infrastructure & automation projects Contribute to identification of project business benefits by measuring process improvements (e.g.
timing) or other cost/benefit analysis Collaborate with project teams to implement effective processes You'll Also Need Experience in successfully analysing complex business issues and multiple processes Experience using analytical methodologies, frameworks, and tools Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities Track record working in a large project or program environment Proven ability to work within a team Ability to work to tight deadlines Preferable experience working in a supply chain / manufacturing environment with operational processes Comfortable working in a large, multi-division organisation with well-defined processes, protocols, and authority levels Preferably Melbourne-based, but open to opportunities in other areas Tertiary qualified in a related discipline (Business, Commerce, Logistics, Finance, or similar) How we'll deliver for you Australia Post offers a unique opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking organisation that values diversity and inclusion.
