As we continue to grow and expand, we are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team and to drive our warehousing 3 PL services forward.
Job Summary The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying and securing new business opportunities within the warehousing 3 PL sector.
This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of logistics and warehousing operations, as well as the ability to forge and maintain strong client relationships.
The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Development: Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve growth targets in the warehousing 3 PL sector.
Identify new market opportunities and create actionable plans to capitalise on them.
Client Acquisition: Prospect, acquire, and onboard new clients by understanding their warehousing needs and offering tailored solutions.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
Use this information to refine business strategies and position ACL effectively.
Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
Demonstrate the value of our warehousing solutions and negotiate contract terms to close deals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including operations, logistics, and customer service, to ensure successful implementation and delivery of warehousing solutions.
Provide feedback and insights to enhance service offerings.
Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of business development efforts.
Prepare regular reports and recommendations for senior management.
