About the role: Reporting to the Victorian Sales Manager, the Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of Fleetwood with the primary focus of maintaining existing relationships whilst strategically cultivating new business.
The role will identify and pursue opportunities in key industry sectors with the goal of increasing market share, educating customers on the solutions modular construction can offer, retaining customers and delivering profit margins in line with Fleetwood Victoria's sales strategy.
This position is based out of our Derrimut office and a company vehicle is included within this great salary package.
The key responsibilities of the role are to: Achieve sales budgets and targets.
Identify and pursue opportunities for the sale of single and multi-storey modular buildings.
Develop new business that offers strategic value to the growth of Fleetwood.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Manage and retain quality relationships with all customers.
Maintain a current understanding of industry trends, competitors and products.
Collaborate with internal functions to deliver the best modular solution for the client and Fleetwood.
Prepare and present sales proposals, tenders, and quotes.
Generate sales and pipeline reports.
About You: The ideal candidate will be passionate, dynamic and strategically minded, with the drive to meet and exceed targets.
We are looking for someone with the ability to think outside the box, helping to diversify our revenue streams across a range of different sectors and projects.
Ideally, you will have experience within the modular construction industry or broader construction sector and demonstrate proven results in the role of a Business Development Manager or similar.
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate: Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role in modular building, or comparable commercial construction industry.
The desire to identify, drive and develop new business opportunities and work toward converting leads.
Demonstrated ability to prepare detailed tender submissions.
Outstanding interpersonal and relationship management skills with the ability to establish and maintain strong connections.
A sound understanding of the specification and tender procurement cycle.
Ability to manage changing and competing priorities in order to meet deadlines.
Advanced computing skills, particularly in MS Excel, Word, Outlook & CRM Software.
Excellent customer service and stakeholder management experience.
