Key Position Tasks:
As the Business Development Manager Regional Western Victoria, you will be responsible for driving growth across our membership base across the Western Region, extending to areas such as Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo, Warrnambool and Portland, create engagement and participation at events (virtual and face-to-face) and support the Member Engagement team to actively promote our support services.
Maintain and increase new membership across defined regions and increase membership categories and verticals. Proactively engage with new and prospective clients across a broad range of sectors to offer them effective training and development solutions and services that meet current or future needs and to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Develop stakeholder relationships internally and externally, fostering a coordinated approach to achieving annual retention targets. Establishing and maintaining local networks within the industry including peak industry bodies, industry partners, other RTOs and TAFEs, members, employer groups, community organisations, schools, and other key stakeholders. Key Skills, Attributes and Experience: Ability to resource internal/external clients to achieve exemplary customer service. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written to ensure rapport building with existing and external members. Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and interpersonal skills. Planning and organisational skills. Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office Suite. Willingness to travel across the region and across Metropolitan Melbourne as required.
