Exciting opportunity for an experienced Buyer in our Homewares Team to join a fun & supportive team within a fast-paced & dynamic environment! What you'll be doing: Our Buying team, in partnership with our Designers, Planners and Global Sourcing team are critical to delivering our business strategy and the success of Kmart.
As a Buyer working for Kmart, you are instrumental in sourcing the best possible products that bring meaningful moments into our customers' lives.
Some of the key responsibilities are: Developing ranges to establish the appropriate balance of Price, High Volume, basics, quality, innovation and trend to deliver strong category growth.
Ability to recognise and interpret trends and build ranges to ensure consistent brand handwriting.
Using commercial skills, combined with the ability to analyse customer's needs and research to effectively deliver long term strategic growth.
Managing the end-to-end Critical Path process across functions to meet instore dates.
Managing and using strategies to achieve the financial plans including sales, profit and stock turn.

We'd also love you to have: Extensive Buying experience combined with trend awareness (within General Merchandise is essential ).
