Job Description Develop and implement category management strategies for fixed plant equipment and related services.
Lead sourcing activities, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
Establish strong supplier relationships to drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and delivery performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and maintenance, to identify procurement opportunities and ensure alignment with business goals.
Monitor market trends, risks, and opportunities to inform decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.
Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and sustainability initiatives in all procurement activities.
The Successful Applicant Proven experience in category management, strategic sourcing, or procurement within the manufacturing or construction industries, ideally with a focus on fixed plant equipment.
Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
Ability to develop and execute category strategies that deliver cost savings and operational efficiencies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Knowledge of fixed plant equipment and maintenance processes will be highly regarded.
