Character Fx - Groom Artist (Mid To Senior Level)

Luma Melbourne is looking for talented Mid to Senior Character FX Artist with Fur/Hair/Groom experience to join the Australian team.
Please note that candidates should be located within Australia for consideration only.
(Remote location positions within Australia are available).
You Can Develop simulation setups for photo-realistic creatures; including clothing, fur, hair, muscle, and skin.
Involvement in the development of departmental tools and techniques.
Regularly communicate with Production and Leads regarding schedules and deadlines.
Work with the visual effects supervisor and the lead artists to determine the best creative approaches and techniques for the task in hand.
Be able to deliver work within established project targets and the high-quality standards of the company.
Experience with hair and fur grooming is a plus.
You Have Minimum 3 years of experience in a CFX/FX role in a VFX or animation studio.
Previous experience on CG characters/creature projects.
Excellent knowledge of Maya.
Excellent knowledge of Houdini.
Experience in the following dynamic simulation: cloth, hair/fur, feathers, skin, and muscle.
Rigging skills and experience.
