We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Digital Information Officer (CDIO) to lead our digital transformation journey. As CDIO of a large and complex trust providing a broad portfolio of community, mental and health and secure forensic services, you will be responsible for driving the digital strategy and ensuring the effective use of information technology to improve patient care and operational efficiency. You will work closely with senior leadership, clinical teams, and external partners to develop and implement innovative digital solutions.
You will contribute to building a culture which is actively anti-racist and supports our strategic framework. You will be an exceptional leader of people, with drive, vision, a strategic mind-set, clarity of purpose, proven track record of successful financial leadership and management.
Leading the digital team as part of the wider iMerseyside shared service model, you will be at the forefront of cultural change that integrates 'digital and data' into all aspects of our organisation for the benefit of patients and staff. Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer (an Executive Director), the CDIO will be able to demonstrate the ability to build credibility with, inspire confidence and demonstrably influence staff at all levels across our diverse services.
The post holder will lead digital strategy and transformation across Mersey Care and support the development and adoption of outstanding digital health and care services for its service users, workforce, and wider communities. The post holder will oversee the delivery of Digital Transformation, Data and Technology services within the Trust to a high standard.
As a Global Digital Exemplar Trust, the Chief Digital Information Officer is tasked with driving a significant shift in digital transformation. This involves collaborating with clinicians and staff to enhance the use of digital systems across the organisation, enabling the achievement of benefits and seamless integration of digital solutions to best meet the Trust's objectives.
The post-holder will be in attendance at Board of Directors meetings (but will not be a voting / non-voting member).
