ABOUT THE ROLE As the Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will harness the talent, align the strategic vision into operational goal setting and be responsible for the delivery of performance objectives across Australia & New Zealand.
Crucially, as COO you will: Lead by example and instill confidence across the organisation, creating cross functional teams who have a Company Objective and a clear vision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and manage all operations across the company including, Sales Planning and Promotion, Dealership Representation, Marketing, Aftersales and Finance.
Strategic Planning and Execution: Developing clear strategies, research, engagement practices and evidence-based business planning and performance reporting, to enable effective implementation of strategic plans, to respond to community needs, and to anticipate and adapt to a changing environment.
Financial Skills and Acumen: Oversee the development and management of the operational budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and adherence to financial targets.
Analyse financial data to drive cost reductions, operational efficiencies and profitability improvements.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor and develop a high performing operational team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Technology and Innovation: Drive the adoption of new technologies.
Customer Focus: Ensure operational activities are aligned with customer/dealers needs and expectations with an emphasis on resolution.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE A tertiary qualification in Business Management or similar and/or substantial experience and capabilities in relevant field or equivalent commensurate experience.
Post Graduate qualifications in finance, accounting, business administration or similar, desirable.
Previous experience in Automotive Industry essential.
Previous experience in Senior Operational Leaderships role essential.
