GMHBA is now seeking a Chief Technology & Data Officer to join the leadership team.
Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Technology & Data Officer is responsible for the executive leadership of GMHBA information technology, strategy, and operations, ensuring that technology supports the achievement of the organisation's strategic objectives.
The Chief Technology & Data Officer will provide strategic leadership to the Information Technology department (circa 60 staff) and play a pivotal role in the technology transformation across the organisation.
You will establish trust and credibility through the provision of advice to the CEO, Executive Leadership team, and Senior Leaders, identifying opportunities to optimise business operations through technology, driving cutting-edge processes and operational efficiencies.
A key focus for the role will be to lead the development and delivery of the strategic priorities, ensuring the IT and Digital strategies are future-oriented, customer-centric, and aligned with the organisation's strategic and operational objectives.
To be successful in this role, you will be highly regarded as a strategic leader with significant IT/Digital Technology experience within a large, complex, customer-focused organisation.
You will be innovative in your thinking and demonstrate high levels of emotional intelligence to inspire, influence, and enhance capability across your team, and will operate as a collaborative business partner with your internal stakeholders.
You are experienced in providing leadership as a change agent, leading the GMHBA technology strategy, execution, and operations.
Exposure in financial services or regulated markets will be well regarded.
With a tertiary qualification in technology or business, and proven experience leading a technology services function, you will have well-developed business acumen, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to influence across the organisation.
