Topped out at the tier ones? Seeking a more meaningful reason to come to work? This is one of the year's most attractive (leadership) Environmental (Contaminated Land) jobs in Melbourne.
An employee-owned business.
A consultancy going from strength to strength with ease because they know their purpose and their staff live their values.
A team who enjoy their office days (2-3 per week).
Contributing joyfully to the development of the business.
If you have 15+ years of experience (and it may well be 25), know your profession well, and know 'who's who', then this is a great opportunity to step into the limelight.
There is some business development involved! What's in it for me? The joy of success , seeing a business unit created by you, supported by a capable Melbourne team and environmental engineers across Australia.
Equity options.
You create success, and you see the results.
Engaged staff.
Staff love working here.
It's flexible, fun, and the work they do brings them joy.
It's purpose-driven.
An opportunity to shine, for accountability and to do it your way.
You'll be supported and guided as needed, but here's a role where you can set up systems that work for you.
Project choice.
Focus on the projects that give you career satisfaction.
These might be smaller, larger, more complex, or chosen strategically.
About you: You'll need 15 or more years' experience working in Victoria (and elsewhere).
You'll need to know the relevant legislation like the back of your hand.
You'll need some energy and drive, perhaps some grace and good listening skills.
Confidence talking to clients will be key - networking and asking for work.
People skills would also be handy as this role will start hands-on and you'll bring on staff within the first 6-12 months.
We presume you know how to do your job, so don't prescribe that here.
You'll be taking home a $180k - $250k package + impressive equity options (available after 12 months).
